Wealth Coach for Sudden Wealth, Exits, and Windfalls
Wealth Coach for Sudden WealthThe Money Arrived. The Identity Didn’t.
Kim Ann Curtin is a wealth coach for sudden wealth. She works with founders, traders, and investors whose bank balance changed faster than their sense of self. This is the work that begins after the deal closes, the position vests, or the number finally hits: rebuilding identity, judgment, and stewardship so success doesn’t quietly become the newest way you lose yourself.

Success Changes Faster Than Identity
You can update a bank balance in a day. Updating the beliefs, habits, and sense of self that got you here takes longer, and almost nobody plans for that gap.
The Identity Vacuum
The exit closes. The position vests. The thing that organized your calendar, your identity, and your sense of worth is suddenly gone, and nobody warns you about the white space that’s left behind.
The Guilt You Can’t Explain
You can afford it. You still can’t buy it. Guilt about spending, about leaving colleagues behind, about outpacing people you love, shows up long before anyone tells you it’s normal.
No Plan For After
You can build a flawless spreadsheet for the money. Nobody hands you one for the meaning, the purpose, or the version of you that has to show up next.
Carrying Success, Not Just Achieving It
Recruiting an assistant, choosing an advisor, and building a family office are capabilities. The transformation underneath them is what this coaching is built around.
Identity & Relationship With Money
We start with what changed and what didn’t. Most people update their bank balance long before they update their beliefs about worth, scarcity, or what they’re allowed to enjoy. We rebuild that foundation first.
Judgment & Stewardship
Wealth without judgment doesn’t last, and judgment without stewardship doesn’t protect what matters. We work on the decisions that carry the weight: how you hold the money and the people around it, not just how you grow it.
Infrastructure & Support
New wealth needs new structure: trusted advisors, the right hires, family office decisions, and the communication skills to lead people who now depend on your judgment. We build the operational layer around the identity work. Where it’s useful, Kim also opens up her own network, connecting you to vetted estate attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals she trusts, so you’re not starting that search from zero.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions people actually ask before starting this work.
Is this financial advice?
No. This work happens alongside your financial advisor and estate attorney, not instead of them. It focuses on identity, judgment, and stewardship: how you carry the money, not how you invest it.
Is this therapy?
No. Kim is a coach, not a licensed therapist or psychologist. If clinical support is ever needed, she will help you find it. This work focuses on the practical and psychological skills of navigating a new level of success.
Why do I feel guilty spending money I can obviously afford?
Most high performers can build a flawless spreadsheet and still can’t pull the trigger on a purchase they can easily afford. That gap isn’t a math problem. It’s identity lag: your circumstances changed faster than your nervous system did, and that’s exactly the work we do together.
I already have a financial plan. Why do I need this?
A financial plan tells you what you can do with the money. It doesn’t tell you who you’re becoming, how to lead the people who now depend on your judgment, or how to build the trusted team around you. That’s the gap this coaching closes.
